Tasha Cogan-Nguyen's fifteen years of both direct and administrative service in managed behavioral health care have given her a firm grounding for designing even the most challenging projects. In the late 1990s, Tasha was the director of quality outcomes at Magellan’s Iowa Mental Health Access Plan, where among her many accomplishments, she used teamwork and community input to build a successful quality improvement program. That success had a ripple effect when she provided technical assistance to other public sector quality directors. In the five years before coming to Piurek & Associates, she directed the Public Solutions Marketing Department of Magellan Behavioral Health where she cemented her knack for writing winning responses to RFPs.
