Kristin M. Mentz has been writing winning proposals and (RFPs) for well over a decade. After graduating in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, she entered the world of managed health proposals. Her RFPs targeted commercial business, the public sector, and governmental entities and received awards ranging from $10,000 to $300 million. She worked for five years at Magellan Health Services as a director of proposal support and development and as a proposal manager for the sales and marketing department. Prior to working for Magellan, Kristin worked as Capital Region Proposal Manager for Aetna U.S. Healthcare in Landover, Maryland. During her five years at Aetna, she managed a team of writers and support staff through the proposal development process.
