Joe Brooks brings over ten years of financial management experience to Piurek & Associates. He has worked with a variety of health care organizations from one of the nation’s largest public sector behavioral health managed care contracts to a major, national psychiatric hospital provider.  By serving in many different capacities, Joe has gleaned the importance of keen financial management and its impact on a variety of stakeholders.  From the day-to-day financial operations of running an acute care hospital to the global policy decisions of managed care, his experience has provided him with a broad view of organizations and has helped him guide others toward making prudent financial decisions resulting in positive outcomes. Joe’s background includes strategies to assist organizations in selecting best options to manage  limited resources wisely with an eye to improving the lives of those in need.

Joe holds a Master of Science in Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, and serves as a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
