• Developing evidence-based programs that meet the needs of diverse populations, including those with serious mental illness and substance abuse disorders. Gabriella’s areas of specialty include implementing prevention and methamphetamine Matrix programming.
• Delivering leadership training and mentorship to help providers and administrative staff grow professionally and be effective managers.
• Negotiating contracts, including scopes of work, program budgets, and contract deliverables.

When Gabriella Guerra became a mental health clinician, it fulfilled a childhood dream. It wasn’t long, however, before she turned her compassion and insight to the needs of the organizations serving her clients. In the last sixteen years, Gabriella has gained extensive experience working with the provider community, implementing system initiatives and developing and evaluating programs using evidence-based guidelines. Most recently, she spent five years serving in a leadership capacity at the Maricopa County Regional Behavioral Health Authority in Arizona, gaining an in-depth knowledge of public health systems. Gabriella is passionate about creating effective prevention and treatment programs and about the opportunity to design and plan programs that increase the quality of life for their participants.
